Bible classes for all age groups

for adults:

Jesus once said: „You know that those who are recognized as rulers among the unbelievers lord it over them, and their superiors act like tyrants over them. That’s not the way it should be among you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant“ (Mark 10:42-43). We want to take a deeper look at the many aspects of biblical leadership which so much different from the management of a business or a big organization. What do bishops and deacons do? Ho far reaching is the authority of a church leader? What does Jesus’ example teach us?

Extra-Bibles are available. No prior knowledge required.

A cup of coffee is waiting in the kitchen for those who arrive earlier.

for children up to elementary school:

For the little ones there is a children’s Bible class with craft activities in the room immediately on the left to the main entrance.

Worship
Jan 26 @ 10:30 – 11:45

On every first day of the week we come together in order to celebrate what God did for us through Jesus. (Before that, there is Bible class from 9:30 – 10:15 am). We sing, listen to God’s word from Scripture, pray and participate in the meal which Jesus instituted for His remembrance. A sermon of about 20-30 min. will highlight a topic of faith.

This event is in GERMAN (translation into English will be provided upon request).

Children and guests are always welcome here. Right after the beginning there is a short worship activity for children. For about 5 min. they can learn and talk about a simplified topic, sing a song and pray together (parents may also come forward and sit in front with their children).

Our guests should not feel obliged in any way. All that is required is an open heart. Feel free to simply pass on the bread and the fruit of the wine to your neighbor when it is passed around, there is no obligation to take from it. Also, our weekly collection is a free-will contribution of money by the members of this congregation – there are no church taxes nor entrance fees. We also don’t have a special dress code – we only ask that everyone dresses in a way which does not draw away attention from the worship of God. Feel free to ask questions or request prayer. At the end there is always time for more conversation.

Potluck
Jan 26 @ 12:00
